When creating designs for the SUE PENN - PAPER TREES collection, I did not begin with the trees. I sat and cut my hand-printed papers into shapes, and I ended up with circles, triangles, little rectangles, flowers, and leaves. The leaves became the main tree pattern and the tossed trees.
