SUE PENN - PAPER TREES
When creating designs for SUE PENN - PAPER TREES collection, I did not begin with the trees. I sat and cut my hand-printed papers into shapes, and I ended up with circles, triangles, little rectangles, flowers, and leaves. The leaves became the main tree pattern and the tossed trees.
The other shapes became some of the coordinating patterns. Dots and a small daisy were added to round out this collection. I got carried away so I did more patterns than needed...I just couldn't stop creating! I would try to choose my favorite fabrics from this collection, but wouldn’t want to make the other patterns jealous. What is your favorite?
