SHERIDA GIDDINGS - Quiltworx Foundation Paper Retreat, August 28 - September 1, 2026
Join us for FIVE days of focused, joyful quilting under the expert guidance of Quiltworx Certified Instructor Sherida Gidding — right here at the shop in Belleville, Ontario.
Whether you're picking up foundation paper piecing for the very first time or returning to finish a project that's been waiting for you, this retreat is your dedicated time and space to stitch, learn, and connect.
New to Quiltworx? Start with Quiltworx Beach House Pattern. Never tackled a Quiltworx pattern before and not sure where to begin? We've got you covered. Beginners can work through the beautiful Quiltworx Beach House Pattern — a welcoming introduction to foundation paper piecing that builds your skills step by step, with Sherida guiding you every seam of the way.
Already mid-project? Bring it along. This retreat also welcomes quilters who have an unfinished Quiltworx project — or any foundation paper piecing project — and simply need time, space, and expert eyes to help them cross the finish line. All skill levels and projects welcome.
What's included:
- Five full days of hands-on instruction with a Quiltworx Certified Instructor
- Bonus time to precut and organize your pattern (on Thursday night)
- Lunch provided daily
- A supportive, focused studio environment at Artistic Quilts with Colors
