Join Robin Bogaert, Bernina Ambassador, for a hands-on art quilt workshop that was a jam-packed favourite at Quilt Canada 2026 — now coming to Artistic Quilts with Colors.
Working from Robin's original pattern, inspired by a photo from her own garden, you'll thread paint three different coneflowers and build a complete art quilt from start to finish.
In this class you will learn:
- Thread painting techniques for three distinct coneflowers
- A quick appliqué method
- A unique art quilt facing method to finish your piece
This technique is taught with any domestic machine quilters in mind, and is suited to all levels of your quilting journey.
We want your class experience to be fun and stress-free. Here are a few things to know before you sign up:
- We need at least 4 students for a class to run. If we don’t reach that number, we’ll reschedule and make sure you get a spot in the next session.
- Safety comes first. If the weather is unsafe, we’ll reschedule and keep you updated by email or phone.
