SARAH CAMPBELL - FRESH PICKED - Bower, Sunlit  is part of a collection started with inspiration from one of my own quilts, Diamond Rain. It is a dark quilt, which I don’t often make, but it hit all the right notes for me: movement, layers, contrast with pops of color!

I’ve been out in my pattern garden and picked all sorts of flowers from tiny florets, leafy bowers, sketchy daisies to huge painty blooms, both detailed and relaxed. With colours from smart, simple, sharp charcoal and cream to the full simmering heat of late summer
dahlias, this group is fresh-picked with design abundance
