ADD-A-QUARTER RULER 6in combines the speed of rotary cutting quilt pieces with the accuracy of using templates. Once your templates are made, the Add-A-Quarter will automatically add the customary 1/4in seam allowance to any straight angle and provide a straight edge for your rotary cutter.
I love my doggie! Even more I love Jinni and her teaching. She's funny, she has a great sense of humour and she's a really good teacher. I've taken a class from her before, but this one was just so much fun! Thanks Jinni for letting us in early to catch up and a great day! I will be back!!!

The fabric was even more beautiful when I saw and touched it then on the screen!! Nice packaging, and short shipping to Alberta ( one week) was so happy to find this fabric in Canada. Thx again! Was not going to purchase from the US. It took some asking around, but I found you. I will be ordering again.

This class was a lot of fun and I learned a lot of new techniques. It was great having a pattern and fabric all assembled beforehand and taking it from there. It all came together faster than most things I make! I love how my new applique-d pincushion turned out -- and even better it's already hanging on the wall!
I am so glad I took this class. I had only recently purchased a new embroidery module for my Bernina 770QE and to be honest I was feeling a bit intimidated. But now, I'm using it like a pro!
Jenny, our instructor, took us step by step through the whole process of machine embroidery from (1) explaining the different types of fabric stabilizers and embroidery threads and when to use them; (2) teaching us how to correctly hoop an embroidery project and (3) teaching us how to use all the various embroidery features on our sewing machines, in particular how to use them to get the most precise and best results you could ever hope for, eg. how to centre motifs in the hoop and how to combine different motifs to create an even more interesting final project. All of this was hands-on, as we had our own sewing machines, which helped me to feel that if I could do it here then I could definitely do it at home as well! During the class, Jenny led us methodically through an embroidery workbook and each of the participants were given the same workbook to take home, which comes in handy to help refresh my memory of what I learned that day.
Thank you Jenny, for your excellent instruction and also for your seemingly infinite patience ; -). I really appreciate AQWC for offering this class and highly recommend it to anyone who owns an embroidery module and wants to learn how to use it to its' fullest potential!
