Have you ever wanted to make a Mariner’s Compass block but were too intimidated? Not a fan of paper piecing or using tedious templates? You’ll love this class for learning how to make 16-point compass blocks in 16 different sizes using Robin Ruth Design’s rulers and strip-piecing method!
Join Jinni and learn all the compass basics for making either a Skinny Robin or Fat Robin mariner’s compass block.
Once you learn how to use Robin Ruth's rulers and strip-piecing technique, you will be free to move on to one of the many patterns and projects made using this ruler system!
Students get to choose which kind of compass they will make - Skinny Robin or Fat Robin.
If you've purchased a quilt kit using Robin Ruth's compass block or blocks, this is a class for you.
Class being offered virtually as well as in person, select either option when signing up!

Refunds and cancellations:
Because of the nature of classes and paying teachers either flat fee or per minimum, we are unable to refund a class purchase. You can send a substitute in your stead if you cannot attend.
We reserve the right to cancel the class in the following circumstances:
School buses are cancelled due to roads being unsafe
The teacher has cancelled due to medical emergency
The store is experiencing natural disasters, floods, death, etc.
If the store cancels the class, you will automatically enroll into the next available make up date class. We will refund the class fee on a case per case basis.
