What are the main differences between Steam-a-Seam 2 and Steam-a-Seam Lite for Laura Heine collage quilts?
1. Steam-a-Seam Lite is for lighter materials and to be appliqued around. It will never be permanent. Steam-a-Seam Lite is not as tacky especially when traveling or not finishing soon after removing paper.
2. Steam-a-Seam 2 is for cotton, is permanent and does not need to be appliqued around. Steam A Seam 2 is repositionable and permanent once ironed and steamed.

For the main prints of the collection I focused on animals that live their lives in shades of gray; Wolves, Bears, Snow Leopards, Puffins and Sea Lions. These eight prints are big and illustrative, packed with details designed for fussy cutting as the stars of the show. The coordinating prints are variations on existing True Colors prints with some new pieces for texture.
