Piecing cotton 50wt thread: Universal 75/11-80/12
Machine quilting 40wt thread: Quilting 90/14
28-30wt, Metallic or fragile thread: Topstitch 90/14
12wt or 8wt thread: Topstitch 100/16-110/18

Standard needles: Change every 6-8 sewing hours.
Chrome needles: Change every 12-24 hours
Titanium needles: Change every 30-64 hours
