EMMALINE BAGS - Light Fusible Woven Cotton Interfacing - 44" will give your fabric the structure it needs, available in three weights to suit everything from lightweight cottons to heavier fabrics and specialty materials. Perfect for stiffening and stabilizing quilting cottons used in bag exteriors, linings, pockets, and garments.

Washable, dry cleanable. Machine wash warm, machine dry medium, iron at wool/steam setting

Available in white, 100% Cotton, 44" wide (43" usable, and 1" selvedge)

Instructions from Emmaline Bags:

1. Place interfacing with the coated/glue dot side on the wrong side of the fabric.
2. Preshrink by spritzing the interfacing with water before pressing.
3. Press from the interfacing side, using steam and a high (cotton) heat setting, press in place for 8-12 seconds, overlapping as you go so the entire surface is pressed in place.
4. Turn over and press again from the front (if fabric allows - not on faux leather).
5. Allow the pieces to cool flat so that the adhesive can set.
   

Extra Hints:

• Try on sample fabric first to check pressing temp and times.
• An alternative method to preshrink: Place interfacing in warm water for about 8 to 10 minutes. Gently squeeze out excess water and allow to hang dry.
