We're thrilled to welcome a Bernina Ambassador to Artistic Quilts with Colors for a hands-on, one-day workshop focused entirely on free-motion quilting — with special attention to mastering the BSR (Bernina Stitch Regulator) foot.
The BSR foot is one of the most powerful tools on a Bernina machine, but it's also one of the most misunderstood. This class will demystify it, helping you quilt with more confidence, consistency, and control.
What you'll learn:

- How the BSR foot works and why it's a game-changer
- Tips for getting consistent stitch length without the guesswork
- Using rulers, stencils and other notions to master perfect quilting of your quilt
- Hands-on practice time with guided feedback
Class Details
- If you don't currently have Bernina machine, we will lend you ours
- If you have Bernina machine, but not the BSR foot, we will lend you BSR foot (your machine must be compatible with BSR foot)
- Open to current Bernina owners and those considering a Bernina
Whether you're new to free-motion quilting or you've had your BSR foot collecting dust because you're not sure how to use it, this class will change the way you quilt.
We want your class experience to be fun and stress-free. Here are a few things to know before you sign up:
- We need at least 4 students for a class to run. If we don’t reach that number, we’ll reschedule and make sure you get a spot in the next session.
- Safety comes first. If the weather is unsafe, we’ll reschedule and keep you updated by email or phone.
Refund Policy
Due to class structure and teacher commitments, refunds are only available if your spot is filled. You are welcome to find someone to take your place or gift your registration. Purchasing a spot confirms agreement with this policy.
